On August 16th, Taemin released the first teaser for his new track “Sexy In The Air”.
As the teaser circulated online, some ARMYs (BTS’s fandom name) began pointing out similarities between Taemin’s video and Jimin’s previous works, such as “Like Crazy” and “Set Me Free Pt.2”.
However, netizens and Taemin’s fans were quick to refute these claims, arguing that if Taemin was drawing inspiration from anyone, it was from his own past work, as the video featured elements and concepts he has previously explored.
Many netizens also emphasized that any attempts to incite fan wars between Taemin and Jimin are misguided, especially given the close relationship between the two idols.
